ARE WE LOST? Is based on a true story about my two daughters, Sasha, age 10 and Sonia, age 6, when we lived on Raging River Tree farm. They had two Shetland ponies for play. Sasha is looking for something to do on their day off. Her mother suggests that they ride to their grandparent’s cabin behind our property, then take the power line road that skirts the forest reserve for a ride, but be sure to stay on this road so they won’t get lost. As they travel along the maintenance road, they are startled by three deer, who quickly disappear into the forest leaving a bent grass trail.
